Miami GP Logistics: North Beach?

I’m wanting to go to the Miami GP this year and am considering a hotel in North Beach, I’ll likely be staying for a week or so and would like a place on the water but want to minimize the travel time to and from the track Thursday through Sunday. Would love to hear where you guys have stayed in the past.
