Hi, I'm Alet!

I created [lastfmlists.com](http://lastfmlists.com) around a year ago and posted about it [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/lastfm/comments/1ikmy9h/introducing_lastfmlistscom_a_new_tool_to_create/). That post explains the details better, but TLDR: this is a website where you can use tons of standard and niche filters to create a toplist from your listening data. Filter for track name, artist name initial, year of first album listen, artist tags, scrobbles on Friday 13th only, every 67th scrobble only, anything you want! This time I'm excited to announce version 2.0 with bugfixes, improved UI, new filters, and lots of new exciting functions!

Among others, you can now:

* Create two lists next to each other using the Comparison tool to compare your top tracks from 2024 with your top tracks from 2025, your top albums from two different genres, or anything else you can imagine!
* Sort your songs by most scrobbles in a day/week/month, in the span of 24/168/X hours, or oldest/newest average listening time for songs with at least X scrobbles. You can also filter for songs that you've listened to in a certain period of the day, for your first scrobble on a day (great way to find out that you didn't delete your alarm scrobbles!), and your first scrobble of a listening session.
* Visualize your lists using the Bar Chart mode or see your lists change through time using the Bar Chart Race mode!
* Export your lists or bar charts as a png image and your bar chart races as a gif!
* Create an Album Grid from any list you create, with or without artist and album labels!
* An advanced mode nicknamed Equations, where you can create VERY creative lists using your data! For example, you can list your top songs where the artist name length is equal to the track name length, one track per length, from shortest to longest. You can see the full command for that in the images. Tooltips are included to help you learn the syntax, but feel free to ask me if something isn't fully clear!

Aside from new functions, the UI got cleaned up so it's more pleasing to use and look at! I have also fixed bugs that impacted libraries not loading correctly. If you tried to use the tool before but your library was too large and it didn't load properly, there's a good chance it works now. Performance in general was also improved, especially on mobile devices.

I'm not a professional web developer and this is just a fun hobby project, so bugs might remain despite my best efforts to test for them. If you encounter a bug, please report it and I'll try to fix it! I hope you'll have fun experimenting with your data using [lastfmlists.com](http://lastfmlists.com) as much as I do!
