I'm a hoarder, I admit it. I've just stumbled on these issues of The Punter (free listings mag) from the '80s. Why have I kept these? I don't know. But they are quite interesting to flick through. Lots of gigs and club nights I remember.

Last Googlez ever flyer. When this night was at the Pav Tav on a Wednesday it was the best night in Brighton. As far as I remember the Googlez crew retired hurt after a few years of heavy duty trench warfare.

Bust the Box / Radio Reverb launch party. Can't remember the year, 2004 or sth.

Speaking of Bust the Box; here's the one and only Dennis as the Easter Bunny 2000. The Good Doctor sadly passed away aged 29 in January 2006. Incredibly it's 20 years ago.

Dennis and Barry (Sonic Boo). Barry passed away a few years after Dennis.

In Dennis's flat having a late session 1999. Don't know who that character is behind D but his face is vaguely familiar.

Two Dynamite Boogaloo flyers (told u this was random). When this was at The Joint in West St it was the funniest night of the week with a really mixed crowd and a crazy mix of music. Every Thursday. Had some great nights. It moved around after a bit, to The Ocean Rooms and Audio. The Joint became a storage room for a toyshop. The cycle of life continues.

A pre-Fatboy Norman wrote a regular club guide for the Punter in the late 80s. Here's his page from May 1989.

Random stuff from my archive (not really an archive, just a big pile of old mags, flyers and photographs I keep in a shed)
