What are the issues when it comes to solar panel installation?

I have been looking into websites like EnergySage which claims to give accurate savings  reading based on user's utility bills and roof allignment. Are these websites actually reliable? If not what are the problems with websites similar to EnergySage in finding a reliable local solar provider? Can anyone with experience of getting solar panels installed on their rooftop please explain it to me?
