NB 16" tires -

Question

I need some advice and recommendation on tires. I got an NB LS with 16" wheels. Current tires are ~7 years old and two of the tires are mismatched brands. They're some unknown brand. I don't drive this miata much but I think it's time to replace the tires. I also don't take miata to the track but I am considering taking it to auto cross this year. I've never done that before before I want to try it since it seems lower pressure vs actually racing others at the same time. I live in NJ and I don't drive this miata in the winter normally. I would drive the car maybe once a month in the winter just to charge up the battery.

Should I go for summer only tires? I think I would enjoy maximum performance. Is it ok to use summer tires in the winter above 32 degrees? I would try to drive in 40+ temps but if I had to drive down to 32, is it ok? Budget is a concern but if it's absolutely a way bigger difference between top tire and cheaper alternative, maybe I would spring for the best. Is there much noticible difference between these tire options?

Summer tires:

Continental ExtremeContact Sport 02 - most expensive

ADVAN Fleva V701 - I'm leaning towards this one. seems like the average price and some folks run this tire and like it.

Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 V2

All season:

Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 Plus - most expensive

BFGoodrich g-Force COMP-2 A/S PLUS

Toyo Extensa HP II

Falken ZIEX ZE960 A/S

Ventus V2 Concept2 H457
