Us vs Them drivel

By no means if this post to arsekiss none autistics. Yet, I can't help but get peeved with the whole NT vs ND malarky. Acting as if the none-spectrumed are some extra-terrestrial beings whose behaviours apparently unlike ours. That all of them are calculating, bellends out to get and oppress and reject you.

Any one can be a nobhead its a person thing. I met insufferable autistics- probably one myself. I met bad typicals.

Interacting with other ASD people, the social mishaps and miscommunication is arguably worse. Attributed to the whole social deficits thing. I find tribalism worse with other autistics. Treading on eggshells more so. There are more imposed 'social rules' to harbour some curated inclusivity, as not upset anyone and there niche needs.

I think that we are in a time where everyone must feel validated and immediately understood constantly. Probably something to do with the phones, where paragraphs worth of context can be sent at once. In verbal exchanges you'd be talking their ear off. Not being seen or even having to slightly work for approval is just a thing.

When some normie, is being distant and not there with open ears, heart and arms from the get go. They probably aren't dismissing you. Probably just deciphering trust.

Harsh to admit but the awkward, prey-like body language many of us have, even when coming from genuine fear, does not help with someone's subconscious lizard brain seeing you as trustworthy. Emphasis on subconscious part. I have my guard up if someone with shifty body langue is in the same area as me. Even if I am exactly the same.

The part that really gets on my tits is stuff like 'Do ND love this hobby too' 'do ND people collect this or that' 'do ND people do XYZ unremarkable common trait..." "NDs don't know how it to get bullied" It reads as juvenile. Autism without an additional intellectual disability is not extremely far removed as people think. To me its akin to the cringe that is Young Sheldon, The autistic Doctor superpower autism, puzzle piece, different ability not dis-ability cringe. Everyone is as plain and boring as each other.

The biggest enemy is yourself. A lot is the traits of ASD that you find hinder you or are the biggest parts of your life. You think that everyone else thinks of those things too. Like they are seeing into your soul before you open your mouth.

I, probably just like you have faced social belittlement because of the autistic behaviours. I am not here to say it doesn't happen. I make a point that the us vs them stuff is dumb. Will do nothing but keep you on edge and pre-emptively waiting to be victimized.

I do not get involved in the shit society that we forced to live in to the best of my ability or waste my time going out, personally but that's because I don't crave it. But just like anyone else, I've been a participant of earth.

I do not think your average normie is some evil oligarch keeping the system running and enjoying it. Everyone probably hates it other than the pedoelites pulling the strings.

If people on the spectrum ran the world it would not be some tist' utopia. Nothing would get done because of pathological demand avoidance. The autist house of commons would last a week to make space for info dumping (lol)
