Lost on vintage sets

I'm trying to get back into collecting after a really long time, without spending a fortune. I grabbed some from my local shop not knowing what I was getting (I have gotten that figured out now) but I'm not sure how to organize.

I thought Base set 2 was a reprinting of Base Set with new ones added but with the checklist im going off of its missing at least 3 Pokémon. So I dont know if those are an ok replacement for the base set.

I have a roughly 10 cards from each of the first 4 sets. I am so lost on how to organize them since I doubt I can find any holos.

Can someone help me get a little more organized? I thought the first 3 sets didn't repeat but that's incorrect. Help im so lost

(I don't have a proper binder yet, I was thinking 12 pocket page would be better?)
