Am I doomed

Okay guys I need help.

I started writing the high school rivals book now that my exams are over and I am also mentally over.

I have not read a proper high school story in a long time. Usually authors skip the actual school stuff. They do not really show classes, periods, normal school routine.

I have already written half of the first chapter and my ML has not even entered yet. Right now it is just school life, classes and getting to know.

Be honest. Is that too much? Is it going to get boring before the male lead even shows up?

Tell me now so I can decide if I should continue or quietly abandon this before it abandons me.
