ByteOrder - A management system for your home/garden kitchen

Showcase: Open Source

n my last post I talked about how I use Claude Code as a junior developer - here's the result!

I cook quite a lot and often it's burgers or pizzas where guests or family want to be able to select their own toppings.

I was fed up with trying to remember what people wanted or writing it down, so I built ByteOrder using Claude over the past few days to give a tech-spin on my garden kitchen

If you've got a cheap bluetooth printer, you can use one of my other projects - https://github.com/proffalken/ble-printer-server (also built using Claude as a junior dev) - and every order that is placed on the system will print as a ticket!

I've no idea if anyone else needs or even wants this, but it's been a fun experiment and it's licensed under the AGPL for anyone else to pickup and contribute to if they want to!
