In his new interview with Josh Horowitz on Happy Sad Confused (watch below), Snyder was asked directly whether fans should give up hope on seeing his unfinished Justice League arc continue. His answer was clear.

“I would never say that there’s no way,” he said. ” I would never because I was on the ride that created Justice League.”

Snyder referenced how impossible Zack Snyder’s Justice League once seemed before it became reality, pointing out that there were “numerous times” when even he thought it would never happen. Yet it did.

Snyder also strongly defended the fan movement that pushed for his cut of Justice League, particularly against accusations of toxicity.

“They catch a lot of flack for being toxic or whatever, but they literally saved human lives. So, you can go f-ck yourself if that’s what you think,” he said.

Snyder confirmed that conversations have taken place about potentially adapting his planned Justice League sequels in some form.

“We’ve absolutely talked about it quite a bit… we live in a world where all that’s possible,” he said.

He suggested the story could continue as a comic, animated project, or another format, joking that it could even become a “Broadway musical.”

Beyond the sequel talk, Snyder doubled down on his approach to Batman v Superman. He said the Ultimate Edition represents the true version of the film and defended his decision to deconstruct his heroes rather than present safer, focus-grouped versions.

Snyder made it clear he sees his DC trilogy as a contained mythological arc with a beginning, middle, and end.

At the same time, he refused to declare the story permanently finished.
