So I’ve successfully been able to cut and install my first ever hair system. Absolutely stoked with the results (see pics) but I cannot for the life of me get the bloody thing to stick down for more than 48 hours. My first try was with ghost bond xl - the front lifted up literally by the end of the day so I ripped the whole thing off, took off the adhesive and tried tape.

Same thing happened except this time I was able to get a good 48 hours out of it before the front completely lifted.

My most recent attempt has been with ghost bond again. I applied 3 coats and let them dry until they were clear but here I am again, 48 hours later and still unable to get the front to stay down.

From the intel I’ve gathered, I should be expecting a good 10-14 days out of the adhesive right? At this rate I’m getting two days MAX and the thought of working out or even showering (currently using a shower cap so the system doesn’t come off) with the system is unfathomable because it’s guaranteed to come off. The issue is only at the front though. I’m having excellent adhesion on the back and sides.

My natural hair is as short as I can get it, almost razor short and my scalp isn’t overly oily or sweaty.

PLEASE HELP! What am I missing?!?

Hair system will NOT stay down (pls help!)
