Tricon Eviction Timeline (Annapolis, MD)

Hi all,

I just started a new job 2 weeks ago. It's a really good gig, and I'm getting a soldi pay raise from it. But I just found out that my first check won't come till the 15th. I have no clue what I was thinking.

I was terminated from my previous job last month after discovering I was being shorted on my paychecks and calling my boss out. They then claimed I voluntarily quit so I couldn't get unemployment, at least not right away. It's a whole legal issue that is being dealt with.

My issue is that our rent is due by the 5th at the latest. I sent an email to our resident advisor guy Tricon has, and am hoping to hear from him Monday. I can cover the rent and late fees with my first check no problem, but I have very little money right now amd can't pay by the 5th (which is the late period).

Can anyone explain how bad this could get? Will it be as simple as just paying on the 15th or is there a real chance of eviction?

Has anyone dealt with Tricon previously? How aggressive will they be? We have had zero issues till now, so I'm hoping for some leniency, but with a corporation like them....I have no idea what I can even do.

Thanks in advance.
