Disappointed in Muslim leadership
Early this morning, the United States and Israel decided, in a joint-operation, to target and strike Iran, including their President and leader in an assassination attempt for regime change. Once Iran retaliated, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Saudi Arabia released the following:
“The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia condemns and denounces in strongest terms the blatant Iranian aggression and the flagrant violation of the sovereignty of the UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, and Jordan. The Kingdom affirms its full solidarity with and unwavering support for the brotherly countries, and its readiness to place all its capabilities at their disposal in support of any measures they may undertake. It also warns of the grave consequences resulting from the continued violation of states’ sovereignty and the principles of international law.”
Instead of condemning the actions of the enemy, and the aggressors who have not only provoked this response by Iran not only once but twice, Saudi Arabia condemned Iran for its response to those attacks. Is it not for those who have been attacked to not respond with their own attack? Allah (SWT), in Surah Al-Hajj verse 39 states,
“Permission [to fight] has been given to those are being fought, because they were wronged. And indeed, Allah is competent to give them victory”
Shame on Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and other Muslim leadership that continue to witness this aggression and instead of acting, they continue to be silent. Especially in the month of Ramadan, you see your brothers get attacked but don’t do anything to try and help them. May Allah (SWT) hold them accountable for their actions.
