Adding #AI document processing to a #Laravel project sounds simple at first.

Github Package :

https://github.com/subhashladumor1/laravel-ai-docs

You start with one requirement — “just read this PDF” — and suddenly you’re setting up:

• OCR for scanned files

• A PDF parser

• Text chunking for long documents

• Prompt handling

• Table formatting

• Audio transcription

• Support for multiple AI models

It becomes a lot of small pieces to manage.

I faced this in my own projects.

And instead of repeating the same setup every time, I decided to simplify it.

That’s how Laravel AI Docs came out.

It’s not about adding more features.

It’s about making AI document workflows easier to integrate in Laravel.

Things like:

• Image → Text (OCR)

• Ask questions from PDFs

• Extract tables

• Convert PDF → JSON

• Transcribe audio

• Support OpenAI, Claude, Gemini

Now it feels more natural inside Laravel.

Something like:

AIDocs::pdf($file)->ask("What is the total invoice amount?");

Less setup.

Cleaner integration.

More focus on actual business logic.

If you're working with AI-powered document workflows in Laravel, I’d genuinely love to hear your thoughts or suggestions.
