No flight confirmation, can't access online account, and can't get through to an actual human - is this really what BA is like these days?
So I booked a single from London City to Belfast three weeks ago for travel next month. Clocked earlier I hadn't had my confirmation email. Went to log in, didn't recognise my details. Password reset also won't work, just giving a very non specific error message, telling me to "try again later".
I then had the absolute bin fire that is calling them up. Option 3 - tell us what we can help with, says the recording. I explain my predicament. They text me a link to the very same page I can't log in to and disconnect the call. Try several more times, trying to speak to a human. Manage to work out the secret language to get put through but "all our agents are busy but we can't put you through right now. Try again later".
I even tried the chatbot, which must have been designed ten years ago because it is atrocious.
That's fine BA, I thought. You've just taken my payment (it's on my bank statement) but can't actually do anything to help me get the basic details so I can actually manage my booking.
I strongly suspect Ryanair are better.
Anyway - anybody got any other suggestions? Or do I just keep phoning for the next few days because I've nothing better to do?
