Struggling to make friends in college

Idk what to do😭 I'm in my 2nd sem already and I haven't made friends..my schoolmates already have fun friendgangs in their classes and here I'm struggling to make one friend😭 In the start I thought friends happen automatically and after that everyone started joining gangs I realized it too late to join friend gangs and now I'm putting too much efforts to make friends I keep my self respect aside and talk but it all turns out be one sided...maybe my classmates find me boring or something Everyday when my classmates are having fun I also get FOMO and because of this feeling I can't even focus on my studies I'm regretting it so badly and I'm also feeling like leaving this college I hate everyone around me they just come to me when they need something and I help them cause I wanna be friends but they just take advantage of me I don't want to spend my college life like this I want to make best out of my college life Any tips guys?😇
