Is the R6 Mark III the final boss of mid range, or should I just buy a used R3?

I just saw the shipping notification for my R6 Mark III and I’m having second thoughts. On paper, the 32.5MP sensor and the 7K oversampled video seem like a dream, and the fact that it finally has a CFexpress Type B slot alongside the SD is a massive win for my peace of mind. But then I look at the Jubilee sales on used EOS R3 bodies.
I shoot mostly weddings and some local sports, am I going to miss the 45MP of an R5, or is 30ish the Goldilocks zone for 2026?
