A lot of people ask whether LinkedIn Premium is actually worth it, especially if you're actively applying or planning a switch. If you're considering a 3-month or 12-month Career plan, here’s what it actually helps with:

### Why people consider LinkedIn Premium (Career)

**1. See who viewed your profile**
Gives visibility into recruiters or hiring managers checking your profile. It won’t get you a job by itself, but it shows whether your profile is attracting the right audience.

**2. InMail credits**
Lets you message recruiters or employees outside your network. Useful for competitive roles where a direct message can increase visibility.

**3. Applicant insights**
For many job posts, you can see how you compare to other applicants (skills, experience level, etc.). Helps you tailor applications more realistically.

**4. Salary insights**
Provides compensation benchmarks for specific roles and locations. Not perfect, but helpful during negotiations.

**5. LinkedIn Learning access**
Includes courses across tech, business, analytics, and communication. If you're actively upskilling, this alone can justify a short-term plan.

### Who benefits most?

- Active job seekers
- Professionals planning a domain switch
- People networking aggressively
- Students preparing for placements

If you're not actively applying or networking, it’s probably unnecessary.
