Dropshipping as a uni student

Question

I’m a university student and I’m thinking about starting a small dropshipping project together with 1–2 of my friends. We’re not trying to build some huge brand or make crazy money honestly if we could make something like €100 per month consistently, we’d already be very happy.

One important thing: we really don’t want to invest any money upfront. We’re students so our budget is basically zero. That’s why we’re looking into options where we can start without spending anything.

A friend of my mom apparently made some decent money with dropshipping 2 years ago and she said she didn’t need to invest anything because she used plusbase.com (also saw mark tilbury's video on dropshipping with no money). So that got me thinking that maybe it’s possible to start with zero capital.

We’re willing to put in time and effort (learning, testing products, marketing, etc.), but we just don’t want financial risk right now.

So I wanted to ask people here with real experience:

  • Is it actually realistic to start dropshipping with €0 in 2026?

  • Has anyone here used Plusbase (or similar platforms)? What was your experience?

Any honest advice, reality checks, or tips would be super appreciated
