TCS BGC Confusion – Not Living at Address Mentioned in Application (Need Advice)

Hi everyone,

I recently got selected in TCS as a fresher and I have a doubt regarding the background verification process.

All my documents (Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, educational documents, parents’ documents, etc.) have one particular address. In my TCS application form, I mentioned the same address as both my permanent and present address.

However, recently my family shifted to another house in the same city, and the old house is now given to tenants. The old house still belongs to our family, but I don’t currently live there. The new house is in my brother’s name, and I don’t have proper address proof for the new address (except that my bank account is updated with it).

My concerns are:

• Will it cause an issue in BGC if I don’t currently stay at the address mentioned?
• If physical verification happens and tenants are staying there, will that be a problem?
• Should I inform HR about the shift, or leave it as it is since all my documents match the old address?

If anyone has faced a similar situation during TCS BGC, please share your experience. Feeling a bit anxious about this.
