How does WB / Para pay down $80-90b debt after deal closes?

Please someone explain how this is a good thing that these two companies are merging? WBD has been saddled with $50b+ debt since 2022 merger and has paid down roughly $20b? But through a ruthless cost cutting spree that axed tens of thousands of jobs. How on earth does the newly formed company pay off that enormous amount of $80-90b once deal closes?

Assuming they may need to agree to sell of assets to clear regulatory hurdles but that won’t move the needle too much on that debt load… or will it?

Very curious to hear how people think they’ll go about this other from laying off 15k+ people…
