space chips ?
A datacenter is space is roughly solar panel + computer + radiators.
In CMOS chips (basis of GPUs/CPUs), dynamic power follows P = CV²f, where f is frequency. Voltage V often scales linearly with f for stability, leading to P = f^3. If we crank down frequency to a*f with a in [0.1 ; 0.5], power drops to a^3. Multiply the number of chips by a^-1 to recover using parallelism the number of operations lost. Eg, a = 0.1, 10 times more chips, 100 times less power, which means 100 times less solar panel and radiators.
So maybe the ideal space datacenter is a big mass of computer, in the shadow of its own solar pannel, running cool ?
