Can someone explain what’s actually happening between Israel/America, and Iran right now?

I’m trying to understand what’s going on, but I feel like I’m only seeing very biased takes.

Some people are saying that Israel and the US teamed up to bomb Iran “for no reason,” while others are saying it was justified because of Iran’s actions in the region and toward its own people.

I know Iran’s government (the Islamic regime) has a history of repressing protests and harming its own citizens, and I’ve seen people argue that weakening the regime is a good thing. But I’m not sure whether that’s accurate analysis or just political bias.

So I’m trying to understand:

Who’s started this? Was it Israel, America or Iran?

Was this action provoked in some way?

Is it connected to Iran’s internal protests and treatment of its citizens?

What are the broader geopolitical reasons behind it?

How could this affect the rest of the world (e.g., oil prices, inflation, global stability)?

Thank you
