Oshi No Ko ending
well i know that oshi no ko ending has received very bad reviews. and i kidna dislike it due to some blandness... like the major flaw was that aqua's death was forced by author. up until then, aqua was a smart character who manipulated everyone... hikaru too, a bigger one tho. and the crow girl was a plot device.
so i thought about it and came to this altered ending, where aqua still ends up dying...
like we know aqua shows the video AI made and hikaru leaves. and we thought he was guilt tripped or something like that. but he didn't stop and tried to kill ruby using nino. instead of this... hikaru starts calculating because it wasn't enough for him to stop. hikaru could have manipulated not just nino but also several other people into killing ruby. and hikaru learnt of the crow girls existence from way before like a bit after Ai's death. hikaru manipulates her and thus she's involved in the murders with/without her knowledge (left as an open q for psychological horror effect.). and now to carry out his large scale plan to kill ruby and aqua, akane's a variable he can't ignore... and thus he uses some of his influence and manipulates situations to cause a major problem in entertainment industry and media industry leaving public confused and they start distrusting both industries... hikaru puts forward a fake story abt his past through media with some fake but convincing evidences... the public has a faace collapse, not knowing who to believe anymore... and it becomes a hige scandal...
hikaru ain't a god so he can't manipulate everyone and buy them, so he manipulates situations to steer them into favorable outcomes... he's a man who especially knows humans can't be trusted, but situations can...
and the major goal of this move is to destabilize lalalai theatre and pushing akane into legal problems, thus trapping her in a legal cage, unable to guide aqua. and as for aqua, hikaru mentally breaks aqua who now becomes kinda mentally ill who fears losing ruby, akane, kana, miyako and others. and hikaru used classic psychological trap - time limit. this pushes aqua to extreme because there's less time. hikaru says, if aqua doesn't do anything b komachi will die during the concert (the one shown in the manga during aqua's death.) and aqua tries to desperately search for different routes, but all end in ruby's death. or so he comes to... so aqua decides to kill himself and hikaru (as per original story). aqua confronts hikaru and says 'we both are disgusting liars who toy with others... but ai and ruby are different...' and shit like that. and hikaru tries to manipulate aqua but, aqua steeled his resolve and doesn't get manipulated because he possesses the black star too... they die... now it's not a forced death but a full blown plan and hasty decision of aqua (which he made, cuz he was emotionally cornered...)
but hikaru's death doesn't erase all scandals he did... lalalai theatre rises back with b komachi help... iichigo returns to the industry with his pheonix strategy. he allows lalalai theatre to collapse fully... and ichigo comes directly this time as ceo and buys lalalai at discount due to the black spot created by hikaru's scandal. lalalai's prestige is preserved by b komachi's revival because b komachi has utmost emotional holdings in the hearts of public. but this incident changed entertainment industry and media industry.
before leaving to confront hikaru, aqua meets miyako, calls her mom and says he'll return shortly or smth like that. he sees akane while he was walking. he smiles sadly and akane realized what he decided. she tried stopping him but he said 'forgive me for all trouble...' and leaves akane who broke down.
then we shld get one chapter for each character's feelings and their pov. and clear resolution. akane is burdened with responsibilty of protecting kana from truth.
and the final panel of oshi no ko is divided to two frames - hikaru and aqua together where both are shown half monster and next frame(middle) ruby dance shot showing ai behind her. complete family. and before this panel akane and kana are shown. kana sat depressed, and akane seeing aqua's photo and thinking of a way she could have saved him
aqua's and hikaru's death in the water will be same as the manga's. and the crow girl showing the illusion too... and last chapter will be as it is... with the addition of my above shit
the crow girl's part is left ambiguous - we don't know if she was an ally of hikaru and she herself was manipulating hikaru (possible because she's a supernatural entity).
what do y'all think of this altered version?? in this version hikaru is shown as a perfect villain - a man who manipulates and doesn't get his hands dirty...
