Early game as new player? What to do?

So I’ve been playing for the last week or so.. and I love it. Used to play RuneScape way back in the day, tried OSRS but not really a fan.. too grindy and just kind of old. So I tried RS3, and I instantly fell in love.

However, I’m kind of lost on what I should be doing. I know the whole point of RS is to be free in what you want to do.. but I genuinely have no idea what to do lol.

I’ve been following the suggested quest guide on the wiki. The quests are great, love that some have been redone with cut scenes and voice acting. But for the couple hours a day that I play, I’m just doing a couple quests and that’s it. Just looking for some suggestions on some other things I can do between quests to keep it fresh? Thanks in advance!
