Episode 14 - Final Tribal Council Part 1 - Speeches and Jury Questions

Chris: Thor, Rex, you have come as far as you can go.. Day 39. The thing is, can you eviscerate each other for the victory and $1'000'000?.

For the last time, please welcome our jury.

Lily, Ash, Jack, Lola, Hermione, Lexie, Emmet, Tyler, and Claire, voted out at lasts night tribal council.

Chris: Here is how this will work.. 1 by 1, the Jurors will ask questions, whatever question, and whoever. Thor, and Rex, you will then answer their questions as expected. Once the Jurors are completed, Thor, Rex, you will then give them a Final Speech.

Then The Jurors will vote, and we will reveal a Winner..

Chris: Lily, please ask your question.

Lily: Well. Thor, and Rex. I would like to personally congratulate you both for making it this far! My question goes too Rex.

Rex, After all the ups and downs of your game, it personally felt like you rode the coattails to whoever the biggest threat was to win. Was that apart of your strategy?

Rex: Yeah it was. I wanted to use meat shields to further my game. Thor, Claire and Emmet were very good examples. Though i didnt want to work with Emmet, i still went out of my way to keep him in.

Lily: Okay Thanks.

Ash: Okay, Thor. Most of us Juror's know how you played, or how you didn't. But may you discuss one of your most subtle moves?

Thor: I think one of my more subtle moves voting out Jakub.. The kid was smart, and he could match up with the big dogs. I was threatened by him and I didn't want any more threats then the obvious ones.

Jack: Okay, Okay. My question goes to both the 2 of you. How did my game-changing twist where I turned the finale from a Final 3 to a Final 3 impact or change your game? Thor you can answer first.

Thor: Well I think it changed my game dramatically, for 1 it changed my game by forcing me too adapt and take out possibly arguably the biggest threat in the game at the time Claire.

Rex: Well, I have a similar story to Thor, but instead I don't have immunity. I did have to persuade Thor to keep me-

Thor: Actually, my decision was chosen like instantly after I won the Immunity Challenge.

Rex: Right..

Lola: So Thor, I have 1 question and 1 question only. Why take me out at F8 when some people say I was one of your most loyal allies?

Thor: I think there was a lot of thought at that vote and I would like to apologies to you for that. One of the main reasons you were voted out is because you were kinda late to the party, which is no excuse at all.

Hermione: Rex, did you know I was going home??

Rex: no.

Hermione: Okay thank you.

Lexie: So Rex, someone else said this earlier, but I want it to be aimed for you. What was your subtle move?

Rex: i think my subtle move was flipping to Thor at the final 6. I think if I had stayed with you Lexie and Claire, I wouldn't had made it this far.

Lexie: Okay.

Emmet: Well, well, well. Rex, and Thor. I would like to ask you both a question..

Thor, when you talked to me before I was voted out, you reassured me that I was safe. Fine, but all that personal talk during the season.. Was that all a bunch of baloney or was it genuine.

Thor: It was genuine bro. Me talking to u before your vote off was game talk, but all the personal stuff was genuine.

Emmet: Okay, Rex. Simply name 1 move u did.

Rex: I mentioned this earlier, but me flipping from the Majority to Thor's Crew.

Emmet: Okay.

Tyler: My question goes to Thor. Did at any point did you consider not voting for me and instead vote Rex?

Thor: I did consider it actually. But I came to the conclusion that you were the bigger threat and who needed to go.

Tyler: Okay thank you.

Claire: Thor.. You have proven time and time and time again that you cannot be trusted! Why did you turn around and make me look like a fool numerous times?

Thor: It was apart of the game, Claire and I never intended to hurt you in anyway, and me backstabbing you all those times were purely a game point.

Claire: Okay.

Chris: Okay, all the Jurors nave submitted their questions. Thor, and Rex, you can now give a final speech on why you should win, then the Jurors will vote. Rex you can start.

Rex: Okay, I think I deserve the win because even though I didn't play as flashy as Thor, or had the strategic mindset I still used my social abilities to get me here. Sure I was sometimes wrong but that's the thing about Survivor that makes this game so interesting, the ups and downs that can lead you to success. I hope you Jurors can understand my game and take into consideration voting for me to win.

Thor: I can see what Rex is saying, but in the game of Survivor, you have to play Flashy to even be in consideration, and that is what I did. I adapted when I needed to the most, and my physical, and strategic ability really showed what I am capable of. All the advantages I held improved my confidence in playing this game. Confidence is the key to success, and it showed right here as I made FTC. I hope you guys can see and appropriately discuss why I deserve this win, and I think I deserve your guys vote to win this game and the million bucks. Thank you
