Need CC: base that survives a long commute (oily T-zone + glasses) without looking cakey
Quick background: a few days a week I have a long commute and I want my base to last from morning until late afternoon without breaking up where my glasses sit. My skin is combination with an oily T-zone and I feel stuck between "looks great for two hours" and "lasts but looks too heavy up close."\n\nCurrent routine: light prep, then a thin layer of foundation applied with a damp sponge. It looks great right away, but by midday my nose is shiny and the foundation separates where my glasses touch. If I add more powder it tames the shine but starts to look dry around my mouth and makes my under-eye area a bit textured.\n\nI'm more interested in technique than product recs, but either is welcome. Specifically:\n\n1) Where would you put a gripping primer vs a mattifying primer, if you use either?\n2) Is it better to set only the T-zone or lightly set the whole face and touch up as needed?\n3) Any tricks for keeping the glasses area intact - a different powder, where to place setting spray, or letting layers dry longer?\n\nIf it helps, I do a quick makeup in the morning (usually between finishing a crossword and running out the door), so I'm trying to keep steps minimal. Thanks in advance for any tips!
