Any WLW Greek tragedies? (Or any interesting myths handling topics about woman?)
I’ve got to do a semester art piece and I’m going to do it off Greek mythology, but I need to find a myth to base it off on. Currently I’m thinking about doing Cassandra and because my art teacher said I would need to find a specific subversive or interesting point to illustrate I thought of exploring about how woman aren’t listened to or believed or tackle homophobia/ having to hide with Achilles and Patroclus, doing the shot in the heart scene as a metaphor but (and this is a bad thing, I can admit that) I LOVE drawing woman so much more than men and me being pansexual myself I would rather do a story about WLW. Or any even a story tackling things like motherhood or what woman faces in Greek (and our own) society?Any suggestions on what I could look into? Thanks for reading :)
