are my edea ice flys going to negatively impact my skating progress?

i recently got figure skates from facebook marketplace but they are edea ice flys, they were the only skates i could find in my size and i want to skate with an affordable pair of skates until i can rack up the money to buy ones that are new. but i keep reading about how edea ice flys are not beginner friendly, really stiff, and how i will be overbooted which may negatively impact my skating progress as a beginner. obviously they will be better than rental skates and i will use them till i need to get new skates as to not be wasteful, but i was just wondering if it will impact my progress as much as i’ve heard.
