Constant night wakings
We have officially finished working with a sleep consultant for 2 weeks. Our little one has made such progress and we’re so impressed! He’s able to independently sleep for all his naps and bedtime. Now we’re stuck at the overnight wakings. He is constantly waking up every 2-3hrs and some nights he’s able to sleep after 15-30 mins of crying/fussing. He’s also stuck at the 4-5am mark, taking upto 1.5hrs to settle back down. He had one overnight feed, which we have been advised to drop.
6 months in a couple of days
Modified Ferber method (we have dropped the check-ins unless it’s screeching cries for 10+ minutes)
DWT 7am
2/2.25/2.5/2
First two naps are 1-1.5 hrs and the last one we cap at 30 mins
Bedtime routine starts 7pm
In crib by 7:30pm
LO has one night feeds anytime between 12-5am. This is what we’re advised to drop. He’s on 2 solids per day (sometimes 3 depending on his mood) and offer bottles during his wake windows.
Any suggestions on what can be improve the constant night wakings? I’m at such a loss and his night wakings/cries really tug on my heart strings, fighting every fibre to come in and comfort.
