Is there anything I can do against cramps?
hi all!
I'm talking about genital/reproductive system health in this post.
After flagging some atrophy issues, my endo thought it would be good to get a checkup at the gynecologist. I was nervous but it turned out super nice, as my Dr was super knowledgeable and inclusive.
Anyway, the day after the visit and internal exam, I started to get really bad cramps. It's been over a week, and I still get them for at least part of the day. I also started bleeding a bit for the first time since starting T 3 years ago.
I would be worried if the gynecologist hadn't just told me that everything internally looks good and normal. I read online that it's normal to have a bit of cramping/spotting afterwards, but over a week seems excessive.
Is there anything I can do but grind my teeth and take a painkiller? Like might upping my T dose temporarily stop the bleeding? Or contrarily, I just got topical estrogen prescribed for the atrophy, and I'm holding off on using it now due to the bleeding, what could that do?
Thanks for any advice/experiences you can share!
