how did you start your modeling career?

i’d really want to get in to modeling, but i don’t know where to start 😅

when i think of models, the images in my mind are lou yanong, jach manere, brea umali, bethany talbot, and gabbi abad—at parang ang layo ng beauty ko sa beauty type nila.

i’m not the conventional model type that’s tall or mestiza, but i know i’d do well behind the camera, especially in portraits or headshots.

i know there are more ways to enter the industry aside from being scouted, and i’m curious about how realistic those paths are here in the philippines.

did you build a portfolio first? did you approach agencies directly? did you start with x deals?
