When holiday makers think it's fine to use the pools and sunbeds at another hotel
You know the type. Families that go on holiday on the cheap, and stay in a 2 star hotel without a pool, or with a dumpy pool. But hey, don't let that put you off. You can just go to another, nicer hotel, like a 4 star, and use THEIR pool (and their sunbeds). It's fine as long as you buy a drink at their bar. Maybe some fries, too.
Are you kidding me? Buying a drink at a hotel bar does not give you the right to use their pool, sunbeds, or other facilities, unless they explicity say so. And most hotels that I know of don't say so. They don't allow non guests to use their pool. It's not fair on the paying guests.
I want to ask the trashy people who do this - how is this okay? The hotel guests paid more money to stay in that hotel, which includes use of the pool and sunbeds. And sunbeds are often hard to come by at hotels over summer months. You can't just rock up from your crappy 2 star with your entire family, and put your towels down as if you're VIPs. Ridiculous.
