So many fuzzy or failed photos
Hey guys,
I have been photographing for almost 10 years now, but only a couple of months ago I took the leap and started doing wedding photography professionally.
Everything is going great, but after every shoot/wedding I have this fear of not having any keepers 😂
And I do have a lot of pictures that I just have to throw away, and not because 'I have 5 similar photos, so I take the best one's, but a lot of 'fuzzy' photos where the focus just missed or where I had my settings at 1/80th and didn't realize soon enough so they are not sharp.
After editing and selecting I do always have amazing photos and a good end result (with a lot of keepers for the couple), but I feel like I have to overshoot just because of that.
Is that just because I'm still inexperienced, or is it quite normal?
As I said, after culling and editing it's always better than I expected and then I realize my fear was not needed, but during the wedding I always feel like 'shit these look like shit, I hope there's at least some good ones'...
