Dog and cats won’t go exist

Hello all to start off this is my friend’s animals she asked me to post about it for advice.

My friend has 3 animals 1 dog (Luna) and 2 cats (she had them before she got Luna). Luna is a husky mix according to the shelter and she was also ok with the cats in the shelter when they were in the cage. Whenever they got home Luna didn’t get along with her cats (she tries to attack them). She has had Luna for about 5 months and she is very well behaved with everyone including her 2 small children. The only problem is that she doesn’t get along with her cats. She wants to keep Luna because she loves her and her kids love her but she just needs some advice on how to possibly get Luna and the cats to co exist without Luna trying to hurt them. Any tips and advice are appreciated!
