The traditional artist attitude problem is their biggest weakness

There’s nothing wrong with traditional artists being skeptical of AI. New tools always shake things up, and concern about quality, ethics, or market saturation is completely fair. What becomes counterproductive, though, is when skepticism turns into blanket hostility toward anyone using AI tools.

The reality is simple: nobody actually knows what the creative industry will look like in five or ten years. History shows that new technology rarely wipes out older forms of art it usually expands the ecosystem and reshuffles where value lives. Artists who aggressively dismiss entire groups of creators are essentially betting on a very specific future, and that’s a risky position to lock into publicly.

Creative industries run heavily on relationships, reputation, and perception. When artists openly show zero empathy toward other creators because of the tools they use, it sends a broader message about how they operate professionally. Audiences and collaborators tend to notice tone as much as talent. If someone builds a reputation for being dismissive or combative, that can quietly close doors over time

especially in an industry that increasingly rewards adaptability.
