Lanterns’ Protagonists Changing Each Season.

I’ve heard the idea thrown around that IF Lanterns continues past one season that it could focus on a different duo of Green Lanterns each season like True Detective which it was stated to be similar to. I think it’s a great idea since there are so many lanterns that could be introduced and it would allow the show to run throughout the DCU as new characters and concepts are introduced. Thoughts on this idea?
