20M, painful sores on the inside of my lips after bumping my mouth on a water bottle

Physician Responded

20M, history of epilepsy, immune deficiency (under investigation by immunology), hEDS/HSD, mild hypothyroidism. Non-smoker, non-drinker, no illicit drugs. I take 100mg lamotrigine twice daily, 150mg venlafaxine and 25mg thyroxine. I have been on all of these drugs for well over 6 months - I'm not titrating my lamotrigine or anything like that. I dislocated my shoulder last Saturday so have been taking 1000mg of paracetamol up to 3 times a day for the pain and applying diclofenac gel to the sore area before bed sometimes. I have also had a mild cold that is still clearing (or is busy progressing to a chest infection, depends on what my body feels like doing).

I brush my teeth twice a day and I use SLS free toothpaste. I have not changed my toothpaste brand recently.

I am prone to cellulitis in my mouth and unusual presentation of HSV-1.

I have tried treating the pain and swelling with bonjela. It helps a little bit.

I bumped my mouth on a water bottle on Thursday and it bled for a few seconds. It was sore, but no so bad at the time. The large hole on my upper lip is water bottle damage (it has got larger and changed colour), all the other marks have appeared afterwards. The ones on the bottom lip are more like puss-filled blisters. It's hard to see the extent of them, but there's probably around 20 descending down to about half way to the base of mouth. I also have pain under my tongue and a lesion forming on the inside of my gums towards my tongue under one of my left canines. The blisters look noticeably worse in person, I am horrible at taking photos.
