I made myself look like a fool

Hi,

I am currently in a manic episode mixed with psychosis. I always act crazy on social media when I am having an episode, I will argue with people or post weird things A LOT. My friends told me I was acting strange, they know I have bipolar disorder. They helped me realize I was slowly slipping in a new episode so I deleted Instagram, Facebook and TikTok off my phone until the episode ends because I always end up being deeply ashamed of what I post and how others perceive me. I also made crazy claims in my religious community claiming I was the chosen one. I've been ashamed to go back even if they're the kindest people ever. My psychiatrist increased my antipsychotics dosage. It helped me sleep last night but as I feel the episode lessening I am starting to get ashamed for everything I've done. Thankfully I didn't spend all my money or put myself in dangerous situations but I wish I didn't have bipolar disorder. It's hard to confess to people that that's why I am acting up sometimes.

Do you have any advice on managing the symptoms? My therapist is trauma informed but not much on bipolar disorder.
