I lost the love of my life three years ago.
throwaway account. I, a 31 year old man lost my 32 year old fiancee. Not to death, infidelity, or love lost. She just left. Why? I don't know. One day we are house shopping, planning our wedding and planning for children. The next she is gone. No warning. Just gone. All she left me was a letter (via text) saying how much she loves me and is thankful for me being the best partner she could ever ask for. That was three years ago. Fast forward to now and I still miss her. I have tried meeting other people but it's not the same. I am in therapy and have been for awhile now so no this is not me obsessing over her. I just gave her my love wholeheartedly. She was my forever person. the one I wanted to grow old and die with. I loved her. I don't talk about this with people because I know I sound crazy. I'm not looking for sympathy. I don't want that. I'm just here to say what needs to be said and my therapist agrees with me. I don't know if I can love like that again but I am glad to have loved someone that much. it truly is the best memories I have and if I had a choice knowing the hurt that comes after. I would do it again. stupid? maybe. do I care? not one bit. thanks for reading if you did. if not that's okay too. All of you have a wonderful day and may you all achieve what you want in life and experience a love that brightens your world like never before like I did (without the heartbreak of course. ) bye
