MMR zero dose?

Hello! My little one is coming up on his 6 month appt and with measles cases rising I'm planning to ask about eligibility for the MMR zero dose. I don't think our area is considered an outbreak yet, but there's a case an hour north of us and quite a few more in other areas of the state and I know my county is not hitting the threshold for herd immunity so naturally I'm concerned. If you were able to get the zero dose, was there a certain "outbreak" threshold your area had hit or how did you get it approved?
