Is Azure maps broken?

So Azure Maps is the new default maps in PowerBI after they removed Bing maps a couple years ago. Tried to play around with Azure Maps a bit recently, I'm mapping around 3000 points (long/lat).

What's great about it is that you can add a reference layer, and you can map icons and colors based on categories.

I'm working with PowerBI desktop, but when I publish to my workspace, almost all the points are gone. I have to refresh the page, go to the next one and back again, and sometimes it refreshes. It's not a user error with bookmarks or anything like that either. I literally just duplicated and put it on the frontpage of my report. In the desktop app, all the points are there, but when I publish it to my workspace and look how it looks there, I'm missing all the points except circles.

It seems like it struggle like crazy to render anything that is not circle points. My square, diamond, and triangles doesn't seem to render upon visit.

Is this a known bug they're working on? Anyone else run into this?
