I just lost a bunch of players?

Let me preface this by saying that I've been playing MLB 9 for damn near a decade and I've never had this happen.

This morning I acquired prime Vlad Jr. and a few hours after that prime Kyle Tucker. Great day. Or so I thought.

A few minutes ago, after releasing a couple silver grade players and putting down my phone for a few minutes, I noticed after opening the game again that both Vlad and Tucker are missing from my reserve players! In fact, a few players are now gone, including prime Freddy Freeman.

I also noticed that my point total went up by about 300,000, which would suggest that I accidentally released those guys by accident...

I know I picked those two silver level players specifically (checked box) before hitting release.

But I may have accidentally pressed "select all" without even realizing it. A consequence of the "select all" button being in the lower left corner of the screen, which rubs up against my hand when I hold my phone a certain way. This never would've happened before the new software update.

(What I don't understand is why those specific players--Vlad, Tucker, Freeman--were eligible for release while my other reserve players weren't. Like c'mon man...)

I've contacted customer support, but it could be a while before I hear back from them.

Am I SOL or is there a way to correct this? I spent valuable resources acquiring and upgrading those players...like I'm really pissed right now.
