How do I comfort my friends in Dubai?

I grew up there as an expat, and my childhood bestfriends are still there. They are family to me. When the first US base got hit, I said to please stay indoors because of the shrapnel, but now they're hitting anything and everything. What can I say that is even remotely comforting? I can't think of anything.
