⚠️ This film contains imagery related to war and conflict. THROUGH THEIR LENS: An AI Tribute to War Photojournalists 1,668 journalists killed. 2003-2022. 80 deaths per year. These aren't just statistics. These are photographers, videographers, reporters—people who chose to bear witness when the rest of us looked away. They documented humanity's darkest moments so we could know the truth.

🎬 Why AI for this subject? Because AI, like photojournalism, is about witnessing and preserving. Just as war photographers use cameras to capture truth, I used generative AI to capture their story—technology preserving the memory of those who preserved our collective memory. The film progresses from black and white devastation through selective color symbolism to vibrant full-color hope, mirroring their mission: finding light in darkness, documenting horror so we may never forget.

🎯 FINAL THOUGHTS This project pushed me emotionally. Reading about each journalist killed, understanding their stories, recognizing that behind every number is a person who chose truth over safety—it's heavy.
