Right Person, Wrong Time

NSFWOlder M Younger F

I (F20) broke up with my boyfriend (M32) last month and I still can’t get over it.

He was the best boyfriend I could ever ask for and I mean it. He treated me amazing, nothing ever got old… he genuinely was everything and more.

Breaking up with him was only to look out for him and his future.

It all started when he asked me back near Christmas if I wanted to have kids sooner than later. I don’t. I’m not in the proper situation or financial situation at that to be responsible for a baby. I don’t want my kids to be growing up in an unstable environment. Which he understood, and he was 100% ready to give the world to his children. But I’m just too young to be putting myself in that situation. He thinks he’s running out of time with the age he’s at, he’s ready to settle down and start a family, which again, I do not blame him for it. But unfortunately it’s something I can’t give him at this time. He understands that too.

I decided I didn’t want to hold him back on his dreams and I broke up with him. It broke my heart I had to do it but it’s what’s best for him. He deserves the world and more… I can’t give him that to him. He didn’t want me to leave him, begged and even cried for me to stay. I just couldn’t knowing he’d be waiting a long time for me to finally get my shit together in life. He deserves to be happy and have a girl the loves him closer to his age that’s ready in life.

Hard to leave somebody you love, but when it’s for the best for them, sometimes it has to happen no matter how much it hurts.
