Am I the only one? I'm pretty sure not.

SpoilerDiscussion

I’ve always called myself a hardcore gamer because I play multiple games at the same time. I probably have 25–30 installed at all times. But I realized that I never actually finish them. A lot of the time, it’s because I don’t like where the story is going. Most of the time, it’s when they kill one of my favorite characters, or when I know he’s about to die.

For example, in Red Dead Redemption 2, when I realized where Arthur’s story was headed, I quit—even though it’s a god-tier game. The same thing happened with Cyberpunk 2077. As soon as I understood where the story was going, I kind of slowed down and never finished it.

The same thing goes for TV series.

I don’t think it’s because I don’t like change. I think it’s because I don’t like saying goodbye.
