I’m having trouble finishing resident evil 9 after experiencing silent hill

Just curious if anyone in the fandom is having trouble like me.. a lil back story. I somewhat grew up playing resident evil. started with 4, my sister an I played re5 demo a shit ton when it was releasing. re7 made me fall in love with the franchise and I pre ordered re village when it was releasing.. few years later after all that sh2 remake comes around.. i never experienced a game like that. the soundtrack the story the overall world was something I never experienced. which led me to play sh3 sh4 then shf…so I just bought re9 and it’s not really pulling me like it did in the past. don’t get me wrong it’s fun and scary but at times it feels like it’s lacking. the story is not that interestin. at least to me.. I really think after experiencing silent hill the bar is to high or I possibly found what I love in horror..
