Slow to Non-existent Loading in games

I posted for help on the Steam Forums, but I thought I'd ask here too. I'm new to the game but I installed the game on my SSD, went to play Halo CE and I keep getting stuck on long loading screens. Either they get stuck and I have to go force the game to close, or it loads after a long while. I have 16 GB of ram, an RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU, and an I7-11800H. I've verified files and uninstalled Halo 2 MP and nothing changed
