"We made peace with Laura not getting any justice for her attempted murder, but Kat hasn't" WTF is this writing?

Why would or should Kat have any peace with that? There's a crazy lady that tried to kill someone twice walking around in her city. She's about to move across the street from Kat's grandparents. This lady stalks and harass her parents and Laura. Who would make this with a psycho still walking around freely?

I can't believe they had Nicole say this. Don't get me started on Laura. Denied getting a protection order but still gotta be warned when Leslie is coming. They should be on edge. THey shouldn't be so damn passice to Leslie. Tired of them just allowing her into their personal space and letting her ramble on. I can see why so many compare the Duprees to the other soap operas families in what they would've done to a character like Leslie.
